Which is better, st thomas or st martin for snorkeling?

Dh and I are trying to decide which port to snorkel at, st thomas or st martin....any suggestions?

St. Thomas, without a doubt.

St. Thomas for sure...St Maarten tends to have really windy days which is not good for snorkeling.

St. John. You can get there by taking the ferry from St. Thomas or take your ship's snorkel tour to the U.S. Virgin Islands National Park on St. John.

Definitely St Thomas/St John. Snorkeling at St Martin is poor to fair unless you go to an outer island.

We thought the snorkeling was much better in St. Thomas. We had only snorkeled in the Western Caribbean before our Mariner trip last summer, and I thought the experience was very different. The coral formations I've seen on past trips were more spectacular, but I saw more sea life in the Eastern Caribbean.
