GraySkyMorning Posted December 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2007 Hello! I honestly don't know what board to put this on, but here goes... I'll be going on my first cruise in Feb(!) :D I will be traveling with another family, all of whom are Canadian citizens. I am a Landed Immigrant of Canada with a valid British passport and Permanent Resident card. I read in my Princess cruise answer book that came with the pre-cruise package that it is possible that I'll need other documentation as I am 17... I know I need the consent letter from my parents, and I'll have three copies (one with me, one with each of her parents) which will have a photocopy of my birth certificate and both of my parents' passports and Resident cards attached. I know I don't need a visa to any of the ports I am going to, but apart from all the documents I will have, do I need anything else? Has anyone got experience traveling with another minor? Thanks so much for any help or advice you can offer! OH! And my ports of call are; St. Thomas St. Kitts Grenada Bonaire Aruba :D:D
PattyW Posted December 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2007 I would think that, along with the letter from your parents, all you would absolutely need is your passport, since that's acceptable for all passengers regardless of where they are from. But, it couldn't hurt to bring you permanent resident card and your drivers' license as well just in case you need verification of your address. MsWitty1 Posted January 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Make sure the letter you have from your parents is notarized. If it is just a written or typed note that is not, they won't let you on. Have fun!
