Information Note concerning MV Fram

 

MV Fram is now sailing back to Ushuaia in Argentina, following engine trouble during its cruise of Antarctica on the 28th of December.

 

First of all, we sincerely regret this unexpected incident that has happened during your voyage and we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.

 

Hurtigruten ASA appreciate that your holiday has not been delivered exactly as planned, and as such we would like to offer you a special reduced price off a future cruise with Hurtigruten. Details will be given to you by your local Hurtigruten sales office upon your return.

 

If further refund needs to be claimed, please contact your local Hurtigruten sales office after the end of your holiday.

 

Thank you for your consideration in this matter, and we very much look forward to seeing you again on a future Hurtigruten cruise.

Exactly how many days cruise did you have and how many were missed? As far as compensation, did they (I assume) automatically reimburse you for the days missed, or did it depend on whether you purchased insurance (some ships/cruiselines only require medical evacuation insurance, so some pax may not have bought anything to cover missed days or change of airline flights).

.........so you have to book two cruises......pay for one and a half.......get one and a half........and thats a deal........interesting......:rolleyes:
