Weather in December

What is the weather like in December? Lots of rain? We are thinking of going next December and would like to know what to expect.

we had great weather this last dec (2nd to 9th). the week before had rain, we had some rain before we go to roatan..clear and warm the rest of the trip (guatemala, belize and cozumel) temps were high 70s to low 80s on shore, low 70s to mid 70s while crusing.

The weather should be very pleasant. You would be months away from the rainy season with mostly blue skies and temps around 80...

 

You can't ask for much better than that!

It was about 80-85 last Dec. when we were there. No rain, partly cloudy, though I think it had rained the day before.

 

The only day we had some rain was in Cozumel, where it rained for about a half an hour; the rest of the day was fine.
