Atrium Palace In Barcelona Question

We will be spending 1 night pre-cruise in Barcelona. I have been reading wonderful reviews of this hotel. Some have said it is a little farther away from La Rambla & some of the "must-see" sights. Can some of you please advise on it's location, ease of arriving from the airport & transportation to the ship?

Also, what restaurant experiences did you have there? Looks like their's is closed on Sunday which is the day we will arrive. Are there some nice restaurants close by?

We just returned from our trip to the Med. We stayed at the Atrium Palace....it was perfect in every way!! Great location, clean, comfortable & the staff was great!!
