Help me select a ship

Hey Carnival friends can you help me? 40th birthday party looking at either Conquest or Freedom. Both are the begining of march is one better ie ship and services. I am nervous about going out of Galveston fog ect.

They are sister ships, meaning they are identical except for the interior design but the Freedom is brand new and has a few more bells and whistles like the poolside big screen TV. You will have a great time on either but I would suggest Freedom first because it is newer.

My sons and I just got off the Freedom for the Christmas week cruise. The ship was amazing. Since it was our first cruise I don't have anything to compare....but I just don't think that you would be disappointed. And the facility in Miami was great and very efficient. I compared my experience in Miami vs. Galveston with my brother who recently sailed from there and I think Miami is the way to go.
