Does anyone know if the viewing area is open to the public when the ship comes back in after the cruise? I know people can see you off but on returning from the world cruise I'm not sure if it's open. My grandsons want to meet us when we return and I know they will be the first faces I shall want to see!!!

I do not think so. The departure and arrival areas are in different places. I think the first time you can see them would be after you have cleared customs. I doubt if they have staff available for the security checks.
