:) TO ALL CRUISERS THAT HAVE VISITED ROME!!!!!:)

 

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Alimandi? Myself and some other cruisers will be visiting Rome in May 2005. I would like anyones take,on what they think of this hotel. I have read reviews online, and most were excellent.

Now, I would like to hear from the "Pros", My cruising brethren, who I know will give me an honest opinion!!!

I've never been to Rome, but I have eaten Roma Pizza, it was great!

:cool: newtocc, I'm with you, I'd rather eat a pizza than a hotel, especially with Roma tomatos on it!!!!!!:D

I don't know Hotel Alimandi but some years ago, in March 2002, I stayed 5 days at the Hotel Nazionale. It is a 4-star hotel and we have been very satisfied. The hotel is clean, nice service and very very well located, near many monuments. From the hotel you can go to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Victor-Emmanel monument etc...and same the Vatican by foot.

I recommend this hotel.
