how do you tip at a spa?can you pay with a credit card on a spot or it will be charged to your cabin? How much should you tip for a massage or treatment?

We just put the tips on our shipboard account. we usually tip about $10 for a $60-$70 spa treatment.

You can just put it on your room card. I usually tip what I tip at home. If it is a good treatment then 20%.

Many massages at home and on the cruise ship -- I tip like I do at a restaurant - 15-20% based on how well the service was performed.

Isn't there an 18% gratutity already built into the spa treatments? I thought that was what I had paid in the past. Might be wrong.

No, gratuties are optional and not included in the price. Sometimes I just add it to the room account but sometimes I tip in cash.

I also tip as I would at home - usually 20%
