Getting to Blue Lagoon

We'll be in Nassau and will be meeting some friends who are staying at Cable Beach. We all want to go to Blue Lagoon. Should I have our friends meet us at the pier or somewhere else? I am going to pre-book the trip but obviously not with Carnival since we will be meeting non cruisers.
