franu Posted January 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2008 I don't have any personal knowledge regarding Jewish tours in Buenos Aires however there are some recommendations on this board. The thread is called "Which shore excursion in Montevideo?" You may find the entire thread interesting. Have a wonderful trip. Fran
designers0 Posted January 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Absolutely! My husband and I just returned from Star Princess' cruise from rio to Valparaio. We had a fantastic Jewish tour by Mirta Waitzman and her husband, Lucho. Here is the info and tell her that Alison Kaplan recommended her: Buenos Aires, Jewish & More Made-to-Measure Private Outings Mirta Jajam - Lucho Waitzman (+54-11) 4806-2796 Mobile from abroad: +54-9-11 6 8976430 http://www.jewishinbuenosaires.com.ar mirta@jewishinbuenosaires.com.ar Buenos Aires - Argentina
smelkin Posted January 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2010 We are using Argentina Jewish tours for our Star Princess 2/18 tour. They have seemed very reasonable/flexible. steve
dr__dawggy Posted January 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Another option: http://www.eternautas.com/en/buenos_aires_judia.aspx I have used this agency a number of times when I have taken groups of U.S. college students to Buenos Aires. ajwboca Posted January 19, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 19, 2010 we came across several alternatives for private tours of Jewish BA, but we concluded to take the "non-private" tour offered just once a week, on Thursday mornings, by the same organization of the previous post: http://www.eternautas.com/en/default.aspx We are only 2 people, so it's far more economical and practical to do it this way. If there were a larger group, say 8 or more, I suspect the private route could work very well and could probably be scheduled earlier in the week, which we would have preferred. sitraveler Posted November 30, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2014 This thread is from 2010. The poster you refer to hasn't posted since 2010, I doubt they are on CC recently.
