SLINKY-YJ Posted September 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2004 hi guys i just got my docs. for our October 6. sailing out of New York and have a question. for the sign and sail form it lists the 4 people in my cabin but only has 1 space to write in a credit card number and we will be each using a credit card per couple so we need to give them two credit card numbers. is there anyway to do this before the cruise or is this something that has to be done at the pursuirs desk on the boat? thanks in advance
stripes Posted September 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2004 there were 3 of us in the cabin and when we checked in, we each filled out a separate card.
SLINKY-YJ Posted September 13, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 13, 2004 oh ok so this is something done at check-in.... i didnt think about that, thanks for the reply
Cotton Posted September 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2004 I've seen others reply to a similiar question. Make a copy of that form and have each couple's info on one. Speeds things up at check-in at the pier if you have everything ready. You can certainly do this at check-in, BUT why make other passengers wait? Having everything READY makes check-in smoother for everyone, including yourself.:)
cantwait2cruise Posted September 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2004 It can be done when you check in...just a matter of filling in another form.

sea_u_onboard Posted September 13, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 13, 2004 I agree with Cotton - make copies ahead of time and have everyone fill theirs out before you get to the pier. There is nothing more frustrating then knowing the guy in front of you is holding you up from getting that first foo-foo drink.:D
workn2cruise Posted September 17, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Thank you for asking this, we're going on a cruise with a friend and are going to be using separate cards also.
Chudley Posted September 17, 2004 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Yes, thanks for the post. I'm cruising this time with my two sisters and there's no way my credit card's going to be responsible for those two "boozers"!! :D:D Chud
bonstersd Posted September 17, 2004 #10 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Keep in mind, whoseever name is first gets charged with anything that's charged to the room, for instance, water bottles, anything from the fridge, towels, and possibly excursions. I know this from experience.
Guera88 Posted September 18, 2004 #11 Share Posted September 18, 2004 Can anyone clarify this because my name is the first one listed and we have 4 in our cabin. Me & my daughter will be on one sign & sail, and her friend and friends Mom will be one the other. We will be booking excursions and I wnat to see if I will be the one charged for them or not. Also, can you put a cash deposit on your sign & sail card instead of a creidt card?
