Two Sun Questions

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on the Sun in March and I'm starting to gather up all of my information...and had two questions:

1) where do you go to make reservations for the specialty restaurants?

2) what restaurant (non buffet) is open for lunch on embarkation day?

Thanks in advance for the info!

  1. If you prefer not to phone, there is a restaurant reservation desk on deck 5, opposite the purser's desk in the atrium. There are also copies of the menus there that you can browse.
  2. The restaurant at the stern is the Seven Seas. You have to go all the way aft on deck 6 (or higher), and then go down the aft stairs to deck 5. (This is because the main galley prevents you from walking through from the purser's desk area and the Four Seasons restaurant which is there.)

Be prepared to be firm & argue to get too restaurant on embarkation day as staff really try to bully/herd you towards the buffet! lol

mind you the food is pretty poor wherever you eat.......:)

Actually we never had any problems getting to the restaurant nor did we have anyone try to bully us to the buffet. I wonder what all you folks who think that NCL has poor food are eating at home.

On our Sun cruise, we were exploring around, went up to the hostess at the door to Pacific Heights, and she set us up with a reservation there. she had her "appt book" right there, so the sign up desk on level 5 must not have been open at the time.

Sure hope that wasnt some horrible faux pas!
