Mountain Top

Does anyone know how far a taxi ride from the cruise ship terminal and maybe cost to get to Mountain Top Bar and Shops?

 

I am doing the beach in the morning hours and then want to do something a little different then the Tram Ride to the top of the mountain again.

Havensight to Mountain Top is about an 18-20 minute drive in low/moderate traffic. Taxi will be around $9 per person, one way.

 

Which beach are you going to in the morning, you might want to go from the beach to Mountain Top?

We may go to Megans bay very early in the morning before it gets to crowded and then go to Mt Top.

 

We will bring a change of clothes and then go there and then back to the ship to do some shopping.

 

We have done other beaches but want to show the In-Laws Megans Bay.

Magens Bay to Mountain Top is about a 12 minute drive. You can ask about a quick stop at Drakes Seat on the way, if you want to take in the view and take a photo. Taxi will be $8 per person, one way. Taxi from Mountain Top to Havensight as mentioned before would be around $9 per person, one way. Taxis at Mountain Top are usually doing a tour so you'd want to have the taxi that takes you there wait for you and then take you back to the ship or whereever you wanted to go next. Taxis usually charge for waiting. So knowing all of this when at Magens and requesting a taxi, discuss what all you want to do and get the price settled on before heading on your way.
