Really Cannot Find Anything To Do

Been to many rainforests. Not a beach lover nor an adventurer. Is there really anything different to see or do in Limon. Hate to just get off ship and walk around. What is there to see that sets it apart from other ports? Please help.

We took the Eco-Tortuguero Canal tour and it was one of the best excursions we have ever done. You see birds, alligators, sloths, monkeys, etc. You are bused to the canal, take the trip, you also go by banana plantations. Highly recommend this tour.

Did you do the ship's tour (which one?) or with an independent?

 

We're still trying to decide what to do.

We went through Charlie Soto and had a great experience. We visited a banana plantation/processing plant, a local farm, the canal and then lunch at a local beach.

 

I thought this was a nice mix of experiences. You might also want to look into a pineapple farm tour. Just a thought.

 

I wish had more time in Costa Rica as I would have loved to explore Limon a bit more, but we are a bit adventurous that way.
