Olympus Stylus 820

Opinions on the Olympus Stylus 820.

 

My daughter has an older Olympus (with several xD cards) and is looking to get a newer camera with a better zoom. This one is 8MP with 5X optical zoom.

Weatherproof, rugged, pretty...typical Stylus.

 

My personal favorites are Canon Elphs, but since you already have an investment in xD cards, there's no reason not to go with Olympus.

 

It is almost impossible to find a bad camera made by the top manufacturers these days and this one looks to be quite good.

Pierces, thanks for the quick response. I love the Canon Elph and plan to get the SD850 (at your suggestion). Since she already has the xD cards, I thought it would be a better choice for her.
