Vancouver to Seattle after cruise

Looking for information on how to travel from Vancouver to Seattle, without flying, we are taking a repositiong cruise May 3 on the Golden Princess, any info would be appreciated! Thank you :o

There are several ways to get to Seattle. The cruise lines offer a bus transfer direct to downtown Seattle and to the airport. Many take the train, which ends in south Seattle. Or you can use the Quick Shuttle ( the cheapest way to go ) which is a bus that has several stops. Here is their web address http://www.quickcoach.com/

DH and I are going to take the Amtrak Cascade back to Seattle from Vancouver post cruise in June. The train itself leaves around 6 p.m. so we will go store luggage and spend some time in town after getting off the ship.

The trip between Seattle/vancouver (port side) and Vancouver/seattle (starboard) is wonderful and so much more comfortable than bus or car that I always recommend it first........

 

unless - someone has the time to go by ferry or seaplane - from Vancouver to Victoria, spend 1/2 a day minimum,preferably overnight,:) and then catch the Victoria Clipper on into Seattle. Anytime you can add Victoria into the trip, it's a great experience.

We took a thruway bus from Vancouver to Seattle, where we picked up Amtrak down to San Diego.

The bus leaves very early in the morning in order to catch the early Amtrak departure.

The bus was wonderful, empty in the early hours. We slept almost the whole way.
