vesw01 Posted September 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2004 Do they have snacks or will they bring out the kids entree earlier so the kids have something to do while they are waiting? Can I bring in bagged snacks to entertain the baby? Also do they provide kids menus with crayons or anything
mnhenderson Posted September 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2004 Vesw01 ,In my experience the waiters go out of thier way to make your kids happy. We have been sailing with our son since he was 3(now almost9) and we have never had any problems. There is a kids menu with crayons. When he was a little smaller we would also bring a book with us,but rarely needed it.The waiters would make him napkin animals and always bring crackers or bread right away. We have taken him out to dinner with us his whole life and he is a pretty good dinner companion. If the little one gets fussy, just take him for a little walk and I am sure it will be fine.My son had the option to eat with Camp Carnival on the last cruise, but still chose to eat with us almost every night.I hope you have a great cruise. HOSKI Posted September 15, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2004 They usually rush the kids food which is good in some cases but our daughter got bored by the time we finished our meals as she was full. This depends on your child. As for bringing stuff in, that is fine, our daughter was eatting baby food for her first cruise and I took it along. She is going to do the kids dining again on this cruise as she really enjoyed it last year.
