Antigua Shopping on a Sunday

We will be stopping in Antigua on a Sunday in February on the Emerald Princess. We have a tour of Nelson's Dockyard booked through the ship.

 

If we also want to shop in the port area of St. John after our tour, will most or all of the stores be closed on a Sunday?

All I can tell you is that we were there on New Year's Day and about 1/2 of the stores were open. I would think you have a better shot of stores being open on Sunday then we did on New Years Day.

generally... most of the stores around heritage and redcliffe quay open whenever there are cruise ships in.
