Wine by the Glass at Dinner?

You can order wine by the glass. However, I suggest if you don't mind drinking the same wine for a couple of days you buy a bottle and have your waiter store it for you. There is a list in the Gifts and Gear section on the RCI website.

Thanks for the great idea. It does make more sense to buy by the bottle rather than by the glass.

Actually, it doesn't on RCI. They tend to price their wines so that 4-5 glasses equals the price of the bottle. The bartenders usually have a generous hand, so you would come out ahead, price-wise, by the glass. This assumes, of course, that you like the available selection.

Yep. We were just discussing this very topic in another wine-related thread. You don't really benefit price-wise by buying a bottle.

You probably end up paying more for the bottle as you are for more likely to endulge in a second glass if you have purhcased the bottle and the waiter comes buy to replenish your glass than you are to order a second glass if you purchased the first by the glass.
