agabbymama Posted January 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Are the king size beds in Italy hotels really king size like in America? I'm checking out the Ca'Doge which state they have king size beds or two twins. I think it would say a double if it was the smaller bed. I'm not sure, but if it says king, it should be a king. Send them an email. They were really nice and friendly, and responded in 1 day to my requests. I booked the twin bed room with them, for the convenience of being right at Piazzale Roma. I just liked the looks of the rooms, the location and the price isn't too bad, for Venice.
Capsu78 Posted January 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2008 The internet is a great thing... here is more information than anyone needs to know! http://www.vbella.com/essays/bed.html Just know that just like paper sizes, shoe sizes and most other measurements, things are different in Italy.... What is "King sized" to a Texan is different than to an Italian...
