When I was there last a few years ago, it was still full service and I guess fine dining. I happen to like good nachos... Well, I did before changing my eating habits. But the whole area there isn't really conducive to an exclusive type of restaurant and even in our best restaurants (except maybe the big hotels) the "dress code" is pretty casual and everything is down a notch I would say.

I bet it is still really good and it is only one of a small handful of restaurants "on" the water in Kona.

We enjoyed Huggo's on our last visit. Busy place, but good food and service. Is there any restaurant that specializes in "Polynesian" cuisine?
