West Coast Cruising

We did the Pacific route a couple years ago during January. No real waves to speak of, looked pretty calm. Going south it felt about as flat as could be. Coming back north you could tell we were bucking the current. Still no waves, but long drawn out rollers caused more pitching than usual. The bow of the ship rose and dropped notably. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, just noticeable.
