Guys...sorry for the goofy question...but what is diamond club, platinum etc?

You're talking about RCI's loyalty program. After your first cruise you're Gold, after 5 you're Platinum, after 10 you're Diamond, after 24 or 25, you're Diamond Plus. You don't have to necessarily take that many cruises to attain the level because if you're on a longer cruise or book a suite you get extra credits.

It isn't automatic.

After your first cruise, you need to enroll in the program. It's like signing up for an airline's frequent flyer program.) You can get the mail-in form on the ship, or you can sign up on-line, right on RCL's website. www.rccl.com

You do get some neat perks... especially at platinum and above levels. I hear other line's loyalty programs are not quite as strong as RCL's, but that's only hearsay.
