luckyprincess Posted January 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Hi, After researching around on this board, we're going to go to the beach at Royal Palms when we go to George Town. I looked at the website, and it has a spot to make reservations. In anyones experience, did you need reservations to eat lunch there? Or where you able to pick one of the food venues and get a table easily? The veranda looks really nice - would love to try there. Thanks!
txmomto1 Posted January 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2008 I emailed them, and no, you don't need to make reservations. As I understand it, the earlier you get there the better.
Mangos Posted January 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Is this close to the port? I heard you can take a van ride there somehow. Also, is there a cabana area where you can get drinks on the beach, or do you have to go to the restaurant? Just trying to find things to do in Grand Cayman without taking a $100 cab ride! Any ideas are welcomed
drew sailbum Posted January 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2008 Royal Palms really isn't very far. Many tour buses will drop you there for just a US$4-5 per person. Rock bottom rate is US$2.50 per person if you walk over to the public bus terminal next to the library on Edward St.

It says it has a beach-side bar.
