bstman Posted January 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2008 We cruised the Conquest last July and the kids LOVED it. My son (15) had a blast. We were thinking of booking a fall break cruise (first week in OCt.) I am just worried that there will not be many kids onboard. Has anyone ever cruised during an Oct fall break with kids? Were there a lot of kids? I know every cruise will be different, just wanted to knnow what your experiences had been. Thanks
mcfam5 Posted January 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2008 and there were kids on board, but most of them seemed younger. I personally did not see a lot of teens, but I think you are right that may differ widely from cruise to cruise. Enjoy!:)
kitty9 Posted January 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2008 There will likely be a very few teens at that time of year. Not many school districts get time off that early in the school year. We've seen mostly pre-schoolers and infants at that time.
VikkiGarcia Posted January 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2008 We sail with our kids the last week of Sept/ first of Oct. each year. W. Caribbean- Rhapsody of the Seas-7 day- 52 kids (3-17) Panama Canal- Legend of the Seas-14 day-23 kids W. Caribbean-Navigator of the Seas-7 day-227 kids E. Caribbean- Navigator of the Seas- 7 day- 495 kids Hawaii-Radiance of the Seas-14 day-64 kids My kids attend a school in Arizona that has a two week break. The public school only gets a week fall break. The cruise with 495 kids was because there was a year when Florida kids had 3 days off for a teachers conference. The parents just pulled their kids out for the whole week.
