tracie Posted September 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2004 Have you ever used puertovallarta.net to book an excursion? I want to book an excursion, but I do not want to pay the cruiseline prices. This website offers some pretty great deals for excursions. Any advice? I am a first time cruiser. Thanks, Tracie
Starspangle1 Posted September 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2004 I think you should ask either the people that are on the boards there or ask the Web Master, I'm sure one of them can give you a fair answer. It is a pretty cool site isn't it. Did you click on the live web cam on the Malocon?
natesfirewife Posted October 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2004 If you book online at vallarta.net, I believe they are using Vallarta Adventures. We have gone on tours with them everytime we go down that way. I recommend them, our kids have always had a blast and the bar opens after the snorkeling! :) I believe their website is http://www.vallarta-adventures.com . bearette Posted October 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2004 If the address the last poster sited it the correct one then they appear to be a very good company. I have heard that Princess Cruise line uses them for the onboard tours. I was interested in the canopy tour with them and I got some good feedback. I would just do the first tour of the day that the excursion you want to do is offered. Also make sure you give yourself some extrta time to get back to the ship. You don't want to be on the dock watching the cruise sail away without you!
bzy1 Posted October 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2004 Vallarta Adventures is the largest tour provider for all of Vallarta. They provide the tours to one of the canopy adventures, a couple of different dolphin swims, the Sierra Madre tour, Guadalajara, Huichol Indian tour, air tours to Mascota, Talpa and San Sebastian, as well as boat tours from sailing to Las Caletas. They provide most of the tours through the cruise ship. You can either book through the boat or possibly through Vallarta Adventures direct... although they may say you need to book through the cruise ship. Either way, same tours same company:)
pvpam Posted October 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2004 All of the cruise ships now coming in to PV use Vallarta Adventures (along with a very few other tours). For any of these Vta Adventure tours you can ONLY book through the ship.

paradise4ever Posted October 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 11, 2004 I have used PVPams recomended company for a tour guide taking us to places we want to visit. We were very happy with them and surely would use Pams services again. She only recomends the very best and we trust her judgement. Thanks Pam
