Pearl/Alaska - Temp. INSIDE ship

This will be my first cruise to Alaska! All of my previous cruises have been to the nice hot Western Caribbean and I found that the temperature INSIDE the ship to be very cold due to AC. What is the temperature like inside the ship on a cruise to Alaska?

about the same...if you are under a vent, it's cold. if you are around the casino, next to the slot machines, it can get warm. they try to keep the temps a little on the cool side. i was on the NCL star to alaska, i was warm (on the ship) everyone else was cold.

Thank you for the information! I was afraid that it would be hot in the ship since it will be cold outside. When I am inside on a caribbean cruise I have to wear long pants and a jacket. I should be comfortable in my jeans and fleece for Alaska!

i wore light sweater on the ship, at night. very comfortable in my jeans, tshirts and fleece during the day. especially if you want to walk outside, even for a minute.

Carrying a lite sweater for on and off according to your body temp is a must. Places on any ship will vary greatly. Easy to peel and then bundle.
