feebee_71 Posted January 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Ventura Party Weekend went on sale this morning at 8:30am. Reports coming through that all available cabins sold out by 9am. Who was lucky and got onto this cruise and was anyone not successful that applied for cabins? Feebee_71 :)

Who was lucky and got onto this cruise and was anyone not successful that applied for cabins? Feebee_71 :) We applied for 2xinside and 1xsingle inside. Our TA rang back about 0840 and offered us outsides instead. Where the insides would have cost us £583 the outside cabins would have cost near £700. Mrs PN drew the line at the £330 for the Mother in Law :( Ah well, another time. Still August to go for.

Feebee_71 :) Hi feebee We tried long and hard from 8.30 and got nowhere until 9.20 when we had the chance of a mini suite. We said yes but in a microsecond the cabin went. Can't believe PN turned his down. Still we're on another wait list now hoping for a cancellation then we may get a look in. A very dissapointed and almost Sapphire Stitch
Pontius Navigator Posted January 28, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Stitch, I didn't. Mrs PN did. I did say go for it and ditch her mother, who was hard stretched to find £225 but could not find the £330. Our cabin would have gone from £358 to £450. I would have gone for it but she said no :( C'est la vie.
Rare Host Sharon Posted January 28, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Got my inside for two on Riviera deck - very pleased. Can't wait now for April.
Towncar T Posted January 28, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2008 We got an obstructed view outside twin. Not really a big fan of P&O, but I'd like to take a look at this new ship and we were looking for a weekend away in April anyway. Cheaper than flying to Sorrento!:) T
hooked cruiser Posted January 28, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 28, 2008 We tried for an inside cabin but had no luck, however we did get an outside with balcony for a total of £560. As we live in Ireland and had already booked the flight it was better to pay the extra rather than pay for a flight that we would not have used.
