broadwayshopaholic Posted January 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2008 My boyfriend and I want to do two things in St. Maarten/St. Martin: 1. Get lots of amazingly-priced liquor 2. Find a beautiful beach to relax on. I've been told the beaches on the French side are way nicer than the Dutch side, and just from looking at pictures of French Cul de Sac, I would LOVE to go there - is it a nice beach? So we're thinking of getting a taxi to the French side (How much is it?), going to that beach (how far, and what's around there?), and then coming back to Phillipsburg and getting our liquor and getting back on the ship. I believe we're docked from 7am-5pm. Will doing these activities be enough time? Thanks.
melgray13 Posted January 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2008 You will have plenty of time to do both - (any) beach and buy some booze. You might want to check, some stores if you buy in the AM will have the booze delivered to the ship so you can get that done in the AM and better plan your day.
