gehrandt Posted January 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Our kids did the Island Marketing dune buggy excursion and they had a ball. Said some of the dune buggies were a little old - had to turn the wheel quite away before they responded. They toured all over the island - got to go snorkling - saw ruins - lunch was fixed for them on the beach - grilled chicken which had been done before and the salsa and guacamole were done fresh - they said the food was all wonderful. And they enjoyed the beer a lot. Did have one major 5 minute down pour (think they were the only ones on the island that got it!) - didn't dampen their spirits in the least. They would all recommend the dune Buggy excursion - and would love to go again - and again - and again.
emjay Posted January 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2008 We just returned yesterday and had also done the Dune Buggy with Cozumel Insider. We had a great time. Omar was our guide and couldn't be nicer. We saw more fish than ever before when we did our snorkel stop. He would swim ahead and do the spotting for us. Then on one stop they prepared lunch for us on the beach and it was great too. The entire time it included all of your drinks (beer included!) There was a small cooler in the back of the buggy and he would keep it filled at every stop. They said sometime after Feb they should be able to have more jungle paths as they are still getting things back into shape from the hurricane. I would definately do this one again.
