Mahogany beach or Margarittaville

Hi,

 

After climbing Dunn's River Falls we are trying to decide if we should go to Mahogany beach or just hang out at Margarittaville and use their beach.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions for us? Our group consists of mostly families.

I went with my boyfriend and another couple last week, and we went to both beaches. Really really enjoyed both, but if we go next time, we'll probably go to Margaritaville all day long. Mahogany was gorgeous (and they had jet ski rentals that we did), but I found the beach at Margaritaville to be much softer, whereas Mahogany it was very hard and uncomfortable to lay on.

 

HOWEVER, we did see a vendor on the beach there (Marg) get very upset with someone who wouldn't buy his necklaces, and security ended up having to come and intervene, but I'm sure that's not something that happens all the time (I'd hope!).
