Tranportation to Blue Hawaii Helicopters-Kauai

I'm thinking of booking Blue Hawaii Helicopter tour in Kauai and was wondering about transportation from the pier (we're on Pride of Aloha) to the helicopter tour company. Are taxi's available and at what charge? If you have flown with Blue Hawaii, how was the experience?

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a 10 min walk from the ship.....if you are slow.......

 

Or, you can take a shuttle to the mall that is across the street. I have used them several times on Kauai.....and once on the Big Island.....and found them to be very good to great. I recommend them for sure......If you let them know....after the ride when you return to the store that they work out of....and watch the DVD they did of your flight....ask them for a lift back to the ship.....if you wish, they will take you.

Funny, I just called them today to ask this very question. They said when you exit the ship, you will see a sidewalk and if you take that sidewalk across the street to the Harbor Mall, which is a large green building, you will see them once inside. They, too, said it was 10 mins' walking time. I plan to allow 20, not because I'm slow but I know I tend to get lost. (Although the lady I spoke w/ said it's impossible to get lost.........) LOL she doesn't know me.

I have not booked anything yet in Kauai and I was also interested in Blue Hawaiian, we are sailing on Pride of America next weekend. Is it also close to the pier for our ship? I also posted a question earlier regarding Air Ventures (Plane ride) vs. helicopter ride. Do you know anything about Air Ventures and how far away they are from the pier?

We've flown Blue Hawaiian and highly recommend them. The helicopters are very modern and the pilot was great.

 

I'm trying to find out how to get from Hilo pier to them.
