Best Way to Book?

I will be booking my first cruise for May 2009. (Carnival Pride Western Caribbean)

 

What is the best way to book it? Online or over the phone with Carnival? Which option would get the best price? I am not really worried about the price, but there is nothing wrong with saving a few dollars here and there that can be used for other fun things.

I like to book directly with the cruise line and then when I have all the details as I want them, and before final payment is made, I switch it to a TA who offers perks, such as onboard credit.

We found a TA is best cause if you have problems who can you call????
