Love2cruise1106 Posted September 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2004 I understand that snorkeling at Paya Bay Resort is very good. They have a day package for cruisers. Does anyone know of them or have any comments they could share. If not where can I get some good advice on this, since its not a ship tour I may do? Snorkelcat Posted October 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2004 Compare by considering checking out Bay Island Beach Resort at www.BIBR.com. I loved it there. Very beautiful and great snorkeling. Have fun wherever you go!
robbyxoxo Posted October 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2004 ive posted my experiences on the roatan board quite some time ago....we found the snorkeling in Roatan to be excellent and easy to do on your own....i always look first for the most cost efficient way to do my snorkeling trip....in this case all i had to do was grab a cab to west end and from there catch a water taxi to west bay....cab was $5 and water taxi $3 for 2 people....west bay youll find a beautiful beach with some spectacular snorkeling right off the beach.....best snorkeling being all the way at the end of the beach where it dead ends at a cliff area...cant wait to go back in jan:)
cruisinaz Posted October 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2004 we usedhttp://www.roatansaltnpepper.com/ for diving but there were ppl that did snorkeling off the beach where as we went on a boat. THey say the snorkling was good. The price also included a lobster lunch - the best meal I've ever had!!! This was the highlight of our trip.
