Tour in Ephesus

You were lucky, then. We have 2 stops in Kusadasi in the Fall, but both say we're leaving at 6, and there's no option for this tour.:(

 

 

 

It was not a cruise on HAL..it was on Crystal. We had 12 days with 3 overnights ( Sorrento, Valletta, and Istanbul) and longer port time in Kusadasi. I liked that as it allowed us to explore more. It was a great cruise.

It is nice that the Prisendam is offering the same tour. It is very special.

We've had the good fortune to be in Kusadasi three times - the first time we took the 3 cities tour (Priene, Miletus & Didyma). We were cruise newbies and didn't do our homework enough to know what we missed at Ephesus. On our return home, we looked online to see what we had missed and were so disappointed. Our tour was great, but to have missed all that encompasses Ephesus really stung.

 

Fast forward a couple of years, we decided to go on another Mediterranean cruise which, happily, stopped in Kusadasi. This time we went on the ship's excursion to Ephesus and were delighted with what we saw.

 

A couple of years later we decided to bring our 3 adult children and 1 son-in-law with us to experience the Mediterranean and we enjoyed Ephesus(with a private tour) -along with all the other ports - together. Unfortunately, neither of our two excursions included an evening tour, but we caught part of a play with Roman Centurions being enacted on the steps of the Library of Celsus.
