waterfall hiking adv. on Kona, anyone done this??

We are planning to do the waterfall hiking adventure in Oct. has anyone done this? How intensive is this and is it the best way to see a lot on this island? Any other suggestions? Everyone here is so helpful, I really appreciate it.
