Bingo - Pacific Dawn

On our 10 day cruise on the Sun we reached $12,000 jackpot split between two people... but yes all the money from the tickets must go towards the prizes... the P&O ships run under Australian law and therefore are not allowed to profit from the bingo... this is what I was told at any rate. Also, the bingo attendance surely has to do with the Bingo caller... the better the caller the more people it attracts... we were at standing room only before the jackpot day

To add to that I was at the local club recently and the bingo was painful compared to P&O.. no jokes.. just plain " Seventy Two, Seven Two"

I hate to tell you this Sundance but it's getting like that on the ships too. Bingo on the Dawn was nowhere near as much fun as on our Sun cruise. I thought it might have been the caller (she wasn't very good) but I think someone on these boards said it was the same on a recent Sun cruise.
