Super small review 1-26 Magic Western

We, DW,DD,DGD, decided to go to Saratoga Springs for 2 days before our 7 day western, to check out the digs at DVC. Very nice.

while there, Thurs nite, we got a call from DCL about our room on the ship, #7064, that it would be unavailable due to some maintenance problem. So they were very sorry that we would be downgraded from a cat 5 to 2 cat 6's. Moving 4 people from one room to two, to me, is not a downgrade its fabulous. Thats good news.

Bad news....If this ever happens to you do some checking with you pre-booked reservations. Since DD and DGD now have their own room they also have a new reservation-confirmation #.. They were seated in Parrot Cay while DW and I were in Lumieres. Got that fixed we thought. DD Spa res. was cancelled because of change in room #'s, as was the Dolphin encounter on Cozumel. After much calling and explaning things all were straightened out. Except for the auto tip slips had the wrong Servers names on them. That was taken care of by the Head Waiter. Some tense moments but all worked out much to our satisfaction by some really great crew members. THanks DCL

The rest of the cruise was great, just like last years. Food was Magnifico, Shows were fabulous, Comediens and Magician outstanding.

Castaway Cay was Super.

It all moved us to book for next year and get the 10% discount.

Great savings there.

Key West was enjoyable at a leisurly pace. Happenen to be a once a year craft show-street fair going on that was interesting.

Grand Caymens Butterfly Farm and Turtle Ranch were amazing, 7 yr old

DGD was really surprised when the guide reached in the pool and handed her a fairly large turtle. Also saw a lot of Iguanas every where.

Cozumel... The new Dolphinaris excursion is great too. The ladies swam with the Dolphins, got kissed by them, had a wonderful time..

Thats my mini-review...sarted out shaky but evry thing turned out just fine and we didnt miss a thing....

Do you own at DVC? We stayed at SSR first time last September and it was a beautiful resort.

That was quite an upgrade! Sounds confusing, the aftermath and all, but glad it all got straightened out.

Your cruise sounded great too!

Recommended tips for a 7-night are:

Server = $25.75

Assist Server = $18.75

Head Server = $6.50

Stateroom Host = $25.25

Those are per person recommendations and are NOT per day, but per trip.

That's $76.25 a person (really only like $10 a day) or a total of $305 for 4 people.
