Spirit Drydock--What Changes?

From various posts, I've read that the Spirit will be going into drydock next November. What changes, improvements, etc. can be expected? We sailed on the Spirit last December and really thought it was so lovely with it's Asian touches! Also, am hoping the the casino lounge will have a makeover...the one spot we didn't find very inviting.

 

We are considering booking the Spirit again for December 08 or January 09 and have been wondering about any changes...........thanks!

I would say bedding, mattresses, carpeting, and curtains and in my opinion, they better change those lounge chairs.

Let's hope they also change the buffet and add the action stations. The addition of fridges in the cabins would be nice also.

I wonder if Freestyle 2.0 will be implemented during the dry dock or before? They said in the press release that "most" ships would be done by summer. It would be nice if it happens sooner - perhaps it will make people feel better about the change in itinerary...

Serial Mom - where did you read that Spirit's drydock is in November? On these boards? Was it from some press release? I'm curious because I'm on the Spirit repo from NYC to NO in October and was hoping the drydock would be before that. Thanks for any info.

erpa, have you stopped by the roll call for the Spirit October cruise yet?

 

It has been pretty quiet so far. We will also be on that cruise and look forward to our third NCL cruise.
