fundayz Posted February 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2008 I was wondering if balcony dining is a fixed menu or do you get to pick? We are sailing to Alaska on the Coral in July. My hubby to be is picky and hates sea food. I thought this would be a nice addition to our honeymoon. I plan on doing both a breakfast and a dinner and need advice. micbri Posted February 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2008 We had the breakfast on the Crown last fall. They did not ask what we wanted when we ordered it, but it was wonderful. Mini-quiches, bacon, lox and bagels, pastries, coffee, juice and a half-bottle of French champagne. Enjoy, but have it on a day when you're going to relax. It is so much food. cruisesusie Posted February 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2008 We've had the balcony breakfast twice and you can ask for substitutions. They will give you whatever you want. Well worth the cost and a ton of food. Enjoy ! Susan
ajcruiser Posted February 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2008 The standard dinner fare is steak or lobster or both. However you will be able to meet with the supervisor in advance and you could have anything off that night's menu also (buy why would you?). The quality far exceeds the regular dining room fare. It is special.
