Question about cabbing it back to ship from Bayahibe

I see a lot of folks mention paying the cab that dropped you off to wait while you're at Bayahibe. Assuming you do a say pass at a resort, can't you call a cab to be there for your departure time, rather than pay one to wait? Thanks.

If you are sailing on the destiny you are better off to take there excursion. We priced it out it seems much cheaper. $57.00 per person is 4.5 hours. 1/2 there and1/2 back to travel. This price includes entrance to the resort a beach chair, towel and all the drinks you can drink while you are there. There is an open bar.
