Can you Do Cayo L. on your own????

I like to do my own tours - just a habit. Plus, I would like to see a little of Samana. Can we go into town from the NCL Dawn, spend a few minutes and then find a local ferry to take us to Cayo? If so, what is the expected charge, per person?

I don't think you can do Cayo Levantado on your own. I've never heard of anyone doing that.

After reading many reviews on these forums, I have yet to hear of anyone who's been able to get to Cayo on their own in the recent past. (Maybe a few years ago, but not recently.)
