What is Power Snorkeling?

I saw some of these folks the last cruise.

Looked like they had some sort of motorized small float that helped them

"sim" over and under the water. Read a website http://www.cocodiscount.com/activities/Power.asp

and frankly, I learned SCUBA in 1960 so I am out of date and only snorkel anymore. Good school: Key West, USN

BTW

my post on "snorkeling vest" is a must read for this!

The CO2 infalted types!

I just think a rookie could end up going to deep!

Granted your ears will tell you but?

Anyway what I saw from the "Zodiac" as we were nearing a Marina in Cozumel was a couple fools (bendayho's in Spanish) having a great time and as they

had no flag on a float we just missed one of them. We were in the proper

lanes of travel and not speeding but moving fast. If we had passengers we'd have lost them as we almost swamped ourselves. Look as rookie do not buy black fins and dark masks or snorkels! Simple.

Do get advise from a younger or currently certified diver.

Looks "safe" but a rookie does not belong below a few feet.

Good post, Amigo!

Frankly I want to try it!
