Don put on 2 hour show just like he did on tv..his daugther Hoku Ho sang the night we were there...you can get discount coupons for his show...

The Royal Hawaiian Luau is classy luau with gourmet buffet ny steak with curry, ahi ahi etc. there is open bar so we ordered vodka martinis all night...if you want to save money go to Mai Tai bar monday night and watch show from the bar for the price of drink and entree..

I would also recommend magic of polynesia show...i usually dont like magic but you get hula dances with magic added it...he is very very good!!!

Also would recommend visit to Doris Duke estate through honolulu academy of arts...a lot of history and beautiful grounds on east side of diamond head...

Mahalo to all!!!

Tanman?! SDcruisers - you guys look familiar - great pictures! Thanks for sharing! One thing we always say are are going to do is to go and see Don Ho in Waikiki and Wayne Newton in Vegas - and we never have....maybe in December!
