2meatsticks Posted February 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I know that BINGO is a staple aboard cruise ships, but DH has recently become interested in poker. Is there a tourney that he can enter on the Voyager?

csk Posted February 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2008 we were on the Mariner last week and they had a Texas Holdem Tournment for the week $50 to buy in and the final from each table played off on the final sea day on Saturday, my husband WON!!!!!!!! he received a seat on the $100,000 tournment on the Freedom on Dec 14th, the cruise is also free we were told they will be doing this on all the ships, and will have the play off the end of the year. He also played 1-2 unlimited texas holdem each night, this seems to be the new gambling thing, he loves it and we were very exicted to win the cruise. boomhaursgrl Posted February 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2008 Was just on the vision, they had a Texas Hold em tourney. Met the guy who won, free cruise on board a RCCL ship! I believe buy in was 135. I'll ask one of the people I met on boar to confirm.

csk Posted February 14, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 14, 2008 on the Mariner there was just one cash game table each night , 10 players, if it was full you could sign up and wait until they called your name, as for the tournment, they said only 70 could sign up.
