Sue L Posted February 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2008 We have a choice of two tours, 1 gives 3.5 hours in Paris on your own, but with an overview of the city on the bus. They will pass by many of the major attractions. Since it would be more limited we would bus to Notre Dame, tour there and then walk back past the Louvre (closed because it is a Tuesday) and meet our bus back near the Eiffel tower The other has basically a direct ride to near the Eiffel tower with a drop off there and then 5.5 hours independent touring. Would it be possible to to Sacre Couer (sp) and Notre Dame in that time frame (5.5 hours) or would it be a sprint and not get to see anything. We would be taking mass transit the whole time with a taxi if absolutely needed.
eh2zed Posted February 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2008 Thats lots of time to do Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur. The Metro ride is not long between them. We went to mass at Notre Dame, toured around it, went to Sacre Couer in 3-4 hours.
devon girl Posted February 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2008 We went to Paris on honeymoon 2 years ago, and they have a fantastic open top bus tour, very reasonable that you can hop on and off of all day. Worth a look at.
