Just got upgraded!!

Hello everyone!

I am sailing on the Carnival pride on 4/20/08 to mexico. This is my first cruise. I went ahead and sprung for the balcony room. I recently just got my room assignment and was pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to the empress deck!!! It's not a room upgrade, but it's alot better than being right above the main deck.

 

I have been assigned to room 6212. It's on the port side in the middle of the ship. I have heard that this is a good spot. We have 2 floors of rooms above and below to block the sounds of the kitchens, dance clubs, and so on.

 

I am wondering, has anyone stayed in this room or a room like it??

Maybe the same location on a different vessel even.

 

I'm just looking for any reviews or advice.

Hi Fry!!! We're Sailing On The Miracle March 22 And It's Our First Balconey As Well:d Soooo Excited. We Will Be On The Empress Deck As Well About The Same As You Port Side. I'm Planning On Doing A Review As Soon As I Get Back. Hope Your Cruise Is Wonderful!!!!:) :) :)
