First Time cruiser on pride- advice please.

I am eagerly awaiting my very first cruise on the Carnival pride, 4/20/08.

 

I am looking for any and all advice you can give a first timer.

Make a list of what you need to buy before the cruise and get started. Double check or make plans for you mail, pets, kids, whatever for while you're gone.

i would look into what you want to do when in port ie: scuba diving, snorkling. shopping

if it is the shopping thing go listen to the shoping person they usually give things away there, have a passport? that would be reccommended mainly if for some horrible reason you need to fly home from another country you will then need one!!!!

if you can pre register on line that saves alot of time at embarkation, and just remember you are on vacation one of the best vacations you could ever have, we are going on our 4th cruise in april on the glory

if you have a lap top/ notebook take it and empty your camera daily, thats if you are like me and take hundreds of pictures....then on the plane i edit out what i do not want.

Best tip, is just read these boards! They have been very helpful to me. I took my 1st cruise march 07, and i cant wait until 09 when i cruise again. If you wanna know more about your ship just search 'pride'. If you have any questions just ask, if i can't help, someone will be able to!
