Room assignment

Hello,

Our first cruise leaves in 42 days and I am wondering if we should be expecting a room assignment before we go, or if it will be assigned the day of the cruise? Our Funpass says Stateroom TBA. We booked an 8A balcony guarantee.

Any info would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

If you don't find out till embarkation day, how would you know what room number to put on the bag tags? Because you drop off the bags before going in to the desk....

Just curious, cause I have been waiting for a visit from the upgrade fairy myself for my TBA room!

They will have a manifest at the dock with your stateroom on it. Don't worry, our best upgrade happened when we had to wait for the day of sailing to get our room number. We were upgraded from 4A guarantee to 8F. It was well worth the wait. Only problem is now we always want a balcony!

We are on the same cruise as you and also booked a Balcony Guarantee. We received our cabin assignment about a month ago. We were assigned to an 8I with an extended balcony. We requested a cabin for 4 people so maybe that is why we received our assignment already. There appears to be quite a few cabins still available for our cruise, so maybe you will get a nice upgrade!:o
